As Domestic Assistant at Marwood Residential Home, you will form part of a dedicated team who put our residents at the heart of our service.

You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of environmental hygiene are achieved through robust cleaning protocols whilst working under the supervision of the Team Leader. You will be a personable character with the ability to form trusting relationships with our residents to ensure they receive positive interaction whilst you carry out your role – after all, you will be working in their home!

In this role you can expect to perform both general and deep cleaning duties, as well as some laundry tasks (no ironing).

As Cook at Marwood Residential Home, you will be working alongside the Care Team to provide for the individual dietary requirements of residents. You will ensure menus are developed in line with residents’ preferences, special dietary requirements including allergens, modified and fortified diets and cultural or religious needs. As Cook, you will always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents as well playing your own part in creating a dining atmosphere and mealtime experience that enhances residents’ social interaction to promote optimal nutritional intake.

You will understand the regulatory requirements pertaining to this role and hold a Level 2 Qualification relevant to the role or be willing to work towards. Previous experience working in a similar environment and role is desirable and a compassionate and a forward-thinking attitude with exceptional communication skills essential.
